Bamboo is a fast-growing and hardy species with a woody culm. Bamboo is beneficial to environmental and land management, providing fast-growing cover for denuded and deforested areas, soil erosion check, and assists in stabilizing road embankments. Research is now being done to see the role of bamboo in carbon sequestration efforts.

Hello Mr. Geronimo Santos! We do not grow Muso bamboo as it has a running growth habit (meaning their next shoots would sprout in your neighbor’s yard or somewhere far from the original shoot). We have clumping bamboo which are easier to maintain and garden friendly. We will send an availability list to your email. 🙂

i just bought severeal bamboos from you and transplanted them the next day in tarlac. both the golden buho and green buho shriveled and look to be dying. same with the mini buddha bamboos. what do you adse i do to revive thme and to keep them from ultimately dying?
Hi Julian! The bamboo would fully recover in a month or two, just water them regularly. They are sensitive to transportion over long distances and then suffered from transplanting shock. Tips for future bamboo transporting/transplanting would be to: keep them upright after transporting (long positions in a non upright position worsens shock). Good day po! We have a pathway that is 4 meters wide and 20 meters long that is bordered on both sides by concrete walls/fence. At least 6 meters high on one side and 4 meters on the opposite. Gusto po sana namin taniman ng bamboo along side the walls for the entire length ng pathway. Ano pong variety ang mai-rerecomend nyo, and available sa nursery nyo.
We also need vertical sun shade for a house to be built yet. Pang-block po sa afternoon sun. Sa tabi din po ng concrete fence na 3 meters high. 20 meters po ang span needed for this.

Good Day, kindly help and provide expert opinion. Our property is located next to a seasonal active creek. It is mostly dry and non flowing, but it really gets deep during the rainy days. We are planning to develop the creek banks and create a small resting area on top. I want to plant bamboo plants along the edge, but I want something that doesn’t grow too high, not thorny and bushy, can be spread out along the side of the bed and have deep roots that can withstand heavy water flow.

We are moving to a new home and one challenge we’ll be facing is to cover the eye sore side of our neighbour. They’ve extended their house and built a semi-firewall facing our home. Sadly, it is our living room that is facing this side of their house and although we’ve found ways to cover their side, but I’d like to add further covering by planting trees. Since I only have a limited small space for the side garden, I was thinking of thin trees and thought bamboos would be the best option (especially that our living room has a high ceiling with floor to ceiling glass windows).
