Red Banaba – Lagerstromia piriformis var.

Family: Lythraceae

Description: A small tree reaching up to 3-4m in height. Flowers all year round with white-pink-purple colors. Young leaf flushes are remarkably glossy red.

Hello, we are interested to have a tree beside our house that will not endanger the foundation and walls of our house. We only have 2 meters clearance from the hose and we have a basement. We are thinking if Banaba tree is safe to plant in this space.
