Madagascar palm – Dypsis madagascariensis

Family: Palmae/ Arecaceae

Description: A medium-sized solitary or clustering palm growing up to 7.5m high. Leaf is plumose with a blue-green color. A moderate-fast grower.

Distribution: Native to Madagascar, Nosi be Island.

Plant Requirements: Full sunlight to light shade, requires regular watering

Economic Importance: Used as an ornamental plant, may be used as an indoor plant.
