Song of India – Dracaena reflexa
Family: Agavaceae
Description: A branching, climbing, semi-woody, perennial plant growing up to 5m tall. Stem is semi-woody and densely covered with leaves. Leaves are elongated, leathery, dark-green, and with wide bands of golden-yellow at the margins.
Distribution: Native to Sri Lanka and South India.
Economic Importance: An ornamental plant used as a screen, hedge, or barrier. Also used for indoors.
