Malaputat – Terminalia darlingii
Family: Combretaceae
Description: A small tree growing up to 10m high. Leaves are almost leathery and spiraly arrange in dense cluster towards the end of it’s branchlets. Shiny glaborous leaves, shining green above while under leaf is red or brown.
Distribution: Isabel, Quezon, Camarines, Samar.
Economic Importance: Wood used for interior construction
Ecological status: Endangered.
