Potat is a small tree indigenous to the Philippine most admired for its numerous long and elegant curtains of hanging flowers.
Day 1: Potat buds were hard and swollen; their centers pearly-white to whitish pink.
Day 2: The flower’s style is seen protruding from its bud head. Each flower resembles a lizard head with a pink tongue sticking out.
Day 3: Delicate petals open shyly, revealing numerous shiny pink, pollen-tipped stamens.
