A Philippine-based nursery growing plants and small trees
What are its chemical contents that are medicinal? How is it differentiated with the tree that flowers thin and separated-like by spaces between petals?
Mr. Alfredo N. Calendacion, Sr.
Hi!
Regarding bayag-usa medicinal properties we may suggest reading: Further studies on the alkaloids of Voacanga globosa (Blanco) Merrill:? Isolation and characterization of tabernaemontanine / Lleander, Glory C. / Philippine Journal of Science / 247-257 / S-D 1969
Bayag usa is our native calachuchi, with a well-formed shapely tree trunk and showy year round flowers. 🙂
